New Software Version for Parrot Bebop 2

Owners of the Parrot Bebop 2 have had a new software update come out for them. Pilots can update to software version 3.1.0 via the website. Visit the Parrot support page here.

The software has made a number of important improvements. There is now an improved recording duration as well as video framing. A flight limitation cylinder has also been introduced which can limit your drone to flying within a certain radius (cylinder).

In addition, the Flight Plan capabilities of the Parrot Bebop 2 drone have been updated to include:

• Better orientation when leaving a particular waypoint
• Pausing the Flight Plan when capturing a panorama
• Ensuring that takeoff is preceded by a landing first (of course)
• Management of the pause timer
• Choosing a default camera tilt
• Minor bug fixes have also been included.
